Custom Orders

 

**Due to a high demand for custom orders, availability is generally limited. We highly suggest starting your inquiries 14+ days in advance. Some dates (mostly weekend dates) will fill up more quickly and we will close them once we hit our capacity. If your custom order is placed within 7 of our business days (Tuesday-Sunday) from the date of your pick up, a 20% rush fee will be added to your order.

CUSTOM ORDER CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING policy

We always try our best to work with customers when there are unforeseen circumstances that cause you to alter your scheduled celebrations.

We understand that things happen and sometimes it is last minute but the earlier you can let us know, the better! To expect a full cancellation or rescheduling, at least 48 hours notice would be necessary because your order has most likely not been started in our kitchen. Once your order has been started (note: the more customized/detailed the order, the earlier production is started), we may not be able cancel your order. This would be determined on an individual basis.

All of our custom order 50% deposits are non-refundable however, we will be able to transfer that amount to store credit that can be used at any other time.

CUSTOM ORDER POLICY

*Please note that we fill up quickly for custom orders in a week and are not always able to accommodate all orders. 
We recommend booking your order at least 14 days in advance, more if possible.*

Any cake that requires customization like fondant work, themed characters, specialty colors, textures and sizing would be considered a custom cake. Please contact us via email at gingersnapsbakeryri@gmail.com for information on pricing for specialty cakes. All cakes are priced individually based on the amount of detail, materials and time they require. In addition to cakes, cupcakes, French macarons, sugar cookies and cake pops can also be customized for special events.  These items require a minimum of 1-2 dozen.  Large quantities of our everyday menu (breakfast items, everyday cupcakes, etc.) can be ordered to ensure that we will have the quantity you would like. 

rush fee POLICY

A 20% rush fee will be added to the total of your order if your order is custom and is ordered within 7 business days (Tuesday-Sunday) of your pick up date. This does not include in store items, Signature Cakes, or assorted Signature Cupcakes. This fee is implemented to allow you to still fit into our schedule while covering the additional costs that come with a last minute order, such as:

Ingredients/Supplies we can not get from our usual suppliers, reworking staff’s production schedule to backtrack for your order, and extra hours any staff needs to stay on to complete your order in time.
