Some dates (mostly weekend dates) will fill up more quickly and we will close them once we hit our capacity. If your custom order is placed within 7 of our business days (Tuesday-Sunday) from the date of your pick up, a 20% rush fee will be added to your order.

We love weddings! And we believe that your cake and desserts should be a reflection of you and your partner. We love being able to use the unique characteristics of the couple, their story, their style and their wedding day to create the most beautiful and delicious desserts! Whether you are a lover of cake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, pies, or cheesecakes, we will help you design your dream desserts!
Fill out our Wedding Inquiry Form online to set up a Tasting Box! From there, you will sit down with our cake designer and owner, Kayla to discuss your upcoming wedding day! During this time, we ask that you bring your ideas with you! Maybe you don’t know what you are looking for yet for your cake or desserts. That’s OK! Just bring us the information you have; colors, themes, important items to be incorporated, venue information, season/time of year, and your favorite flavors! We will help with the rest. Maybe you know exactly what you want. So bring all of your inspiration! Inspiration images or fabric swatches for color and texture work best to get us on the same page.
We recommend that you plan your tasting about 6-8 months before your wedding to allow for enough time to make design and flavor choices, and to be sure you save your spot in our calendar! We will try our best to accommodate last minute orders however; we cannot make any guarantees since it will depend on the orders that have been placed previously.

If a cake isn’t what you are looking for, we also customize other treats to fit your special event; cupcakes, decorated cookies, cake pops, chocolate covered items and French macarons! Before you get in touch with us we recommend you gather some information regarding your event: how many people you will be serving (a rough estimate will do), what date you need it for, if you are interested in pick up or delivery, the theme of your event, and what kinds of desserts you are interested in.This will speed up the process for you and get your order in our books faster! And if you don’t know all of those details, don’t worry. We can help you start your order in the mean time!
Custom Order Policy
*Please note that we fill up quickly for custom orders in a week and are not always able to accommodate all orders.
We recommend booking your order at least 14 days in advance, more if possible.*
Any order that requires customization like fondant work, themed characters, specialty colors, textures and sizing would be considered custom. Please contact us via email at gingersnapsbakeryri@gmail.com for information on pricing for specialty cakes and desserts. All cakes are priced individually based on the amount of detail, materials and time they require. In addition to cakes, cupcakes, French macarons, sugar cookies and cake pops can also be customized for special events. These items require a minimum of 1-2 dozen. Large quantities of our everyday menu (breakfast items, everyday cupcakes, etc.) can be ordered to ensure that we will have the quantity you would like.
Custom Order Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy
We always try our best to work with customers when there are unforeseen circumstances that cause you to alter your scheduled celebrations.
We understand that things happen and sometimes it is last minute but the earlier you can let us know, the better! To expect a full cancellation or rescheduling, at least one weeks notice would be necessary because your order has not been started in our kitchen. Once your order has been started (note: the more customized/detailed the order, the earlier production is started), we may not be able cancel your order. This would be determined on an individual basis.
All of our custom order 50% deposits are non-refundable however, we will be able to transfer that amount to store credit that can be used at any other time.
Rush Fee Policy
A 20% rush fee will be added to the total of your order if your order is custom and is ordered within 7 business days (Tuesday-Sunday) of your pick up date. This does not include in store items, Signature Cakes, or assorted Signature Cupcakes. This fee is implemented to allow you to still fit into our schedule while covering the additional costs that come with a last minute order, such as:
Ingredients/Supplies we can not get from our usual suppliers, reworking staff’s production schedule to backtrack for your order, and extra hours any staff needs to stay on to complete your order in time.
